We are registered property valuers with years of mortgage valuation experience throughout South East Queensland. Our mission is to improve the apartment buying experience with transparency and honesty while highlighting any red flags along the way. Steve is a Queensland Property Valuer and an Associate of the Australian Property Institute with more than a decade of property valuation experience throughout Southeast Queensland, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast markets.

Since commencing his career Steve has assessed the property market through some of the most significant events in Brisbane’s property history ranging from the slumps of the Global Financial Crisis (GFC), extreme flooding through to the COVID19 property boom. During this time Steve has reported on uninhabitable squats to multimillion dollar inner city penthouses (sometimes in the same day) and most recently managed a team of 24 property valuers as an Associate Director for a national firm.

Over his career, Steve has honed his expertise in residential apartments. With a keen eye for detail, noticing the many subtle differences in what could be mistaken for yet another inner-city apartment. His market research has also shone the spotlight on the lack of fundamental information available to apartment investors. Steve has seen too many years of investors experiencing major capital loses on new apartments that offer nothing innovative over the plethora of resale stock already available.

Realising there is a need for non-biased, grassroots consumer education that provides real world value, Steve started Apartment Consulting.
